  2. @ricardolilo My PSP is perfectly fine lol I just took screen off, the LCD Bracket / brace off, then I popped out the speakers; the PSP is absolutely fine haha actually its in better shape than original xD

  6. @101stsurvivor Of course, L0rdnic0 does more of that stuff, you can look up his account, and the only difference is the speakers are located in a different spot, so you would just have wiring slightly different :) thanks for the comment.

    you probably shorted a fuse. i did it to mine. you have to solder a bridge over the fuse for your volume to work again. thats what i did and it works fine now =]

  9. On the mother board I have TA-081, the Positive for the RIGHT speaker is BOTTOM, The Negative is on the TOP, And the 5 volts is below the plug for the right speaker Closest to the ground spot where the screw goes in the bottom. I’ll send you a diagram, check your mail.

  13. Sounds like you just need a new homebar which is Extremely possible :) You can purchase a new one from deal extreme or ebay or whatever and instal it. Simple :]

Yah man also the button to change the birghtness of the screen sometimes it will work but when you hold it its on sleep and it won’t turn back on and also a caase fter that it would not even go into sleep but yah its having major issues I’d just like to know what I can do to fix it if its possible Thnaks :D

  15. I don’t understand whats wrong with the PSP. Are you raising the volume up and down and it is not getting louder? Or are you hitting the buttons and the PSP is not responding, and its Stuck on a Low Volume?

    If its number 2 which is what it sounds like to me, you might have a busted Home bar, could you let me know if the other buttons on the home bar work as well? I’ll try to help you from there.

  16. can u help me out my psp’s sound is f’d up, when i turn it on the volume wont go up its at the owest it can go, and when I hit the up on the volume it does not work and the down don’t work either do you think I should open it up and maybe clean it or something?

  19. Not sure what you mean, Are you trying to say your Backlight isn’t working? If its not working try hitting the backlight button, if nothing happens, and its REALLY Dark, then you might have a problem at the connector, try with another screen if you have one available; if not you may have blown the backlight fuse, which you can fix as well, I will send you a link as to where you can repair that :)

  20. hello i got a question. where do the energy for the backlight of the psp come from? i broke away the explaitonory on the psp which i wanted to solder with the backlight connector

  21. how to take all of those stuff of , i mean i tried and ws afraind i’d brake my psp, i mean like at the start ur psp doesnt have its buttons and everything, can someone make a video of how to take it off ?

    Yes ground is negative.
