  1. thank you very much for this video, i wasn’t sure of my wiikey 2 because the leds did cycle, i thought the blue led should allways be lit, also i forgot to put the protective carton over it provided with wiiclip! thnx again :)

    hey dude i have a question. I installed my wiikey 2 but all i get is a red constant light, do you know what this means, the drive does load but won’t play backups. It does play the original so im guessing it doesnt connect the way it should?

    please let me know

  4. since you are on 4.2 it blocks region free support on all modchips. the disc you are trying to play must be NTSC and should not be patched in any way

Hey can anyone please help me… i have just installed my Wii-Clip-2 V14 solderless wiikey 2 and it wont read my burnt disc. it comes up with a msg saying “An Error Has Occured”…….. ive got wii version 4.2 and on my drive has GC2 – D2E on it. Im new to all this and followed the vid exacly please help.

  10. u probably burned the cd wrong. try and use a ‘staples dvd+rw’ not dvd-rw and use img burn and put the speed to 4x. this is THE best from experience

  11. So, I pretty much did these exact steps, with care and all. I also made sure the wiikey was compatible with the Wii model number I had.

    However, the only thing I’ve been able to run so far is the homebrew loader from a backed up dvd. Every other wii game, which I downloaded the iso onto dvd, will not be recognized by the wii. I’ve tried multiple games (yes the LED’s light up on the wii, and yes, the games are copied onto the dvd properly).

    Any help, perhaps? Thanks

  12. that was freakin sweet with an almost matrix theme to it with the whole hacking an light up effect whoever invented it did a great job with the whole simplicity and leds for the average joe to wack it in there n say arent i fucking clever cookie im off to buy one…lol

  17. i have a solderless wiikey 2 i got it for 80 buks. you can get them of modsupplier or ozmodchips.

  18. how much for that chip and what web site is it from?
