@Joskun : 1) Why take the slim cover off of a slim ps2 for? You just need to install sensors if using swap magic. 2) If using ESR, patch the games with ESR patcher and then free mcboot with ESR will boot the games for you. 3) If using FMBC, blocked sensors not required. – Versato;e

  9. Great tutorial man!!!
I have 2 questions though, did you have to patch the backup with ESR disk patcher?
Also I’m thinking on taking the slim cover off when I’m loading Magic and installing FMCB afterward.
Now say i’m done with FMBC will I sill need the sensors blocked when swapping the original psx with the back up psx??

@crazyskater1614 : Thanks for the kind words. I am already successful relatively speaking. This whole youtube thing is just a side hobby, and I love making tutorials.

The current tutorials on youtube about this subject just suck. I know how hard it is out there to find GOOD information. I have come to break that mold. Enjoy your PS2 man. See my new network video on the PS2, you will like it. – Versatile

  14. P.S. i have ps2 75003 (v14?) and FreeMCboot instaled into MC

  15. mines just spins that backup and wont load anything (black sreen always). But it plays that backup fine if ill swap quickly orinal game with backup(non PSXlauncher method). Thats weird..

  16. well if it works ill let you know

PSX saves must be saved to a ps1 memory card. I never messed with ps1 saves before, but I suspect method is same. – Versatile

@InvaderTAK16 : Yes, the hardest was I never knew this existed. All this time I had a slim that could play PSX games, and I didn’t know about it until last week and I had the ps2 slim for 2 years now. :) – Versatile
