Good solid all-round review. Of course, there’s new developments since then, such as the original R4v2 not working on the DSi, as well as the latest game compatibility issues.

    But overall, brilliant!

Check out my profile for more useful videos about the R4 DS or other DSi cards :)

excuse me i have 2 questions

1.) how do you get nes and snes onto your ds
2.) where do you download your games because all the sites i’ve been to so far sucks

  15. mines dif

  16. no. you need a R4i if u want to use it on DSi. R4 will work with DS and DSL.

  17. Alright, Zamerick, you are correct, there is no need for name calling. I apologize and I never thought of using it the way you do.

  18. do this work on the DSI

  19. look no need for name calling, but i actually own all the games on my r4 because i enjoy the convinience of not having to lugage around 40 ds cartriges and hoping that none of them get lost thats why i have 3 R4s: 1 for my DS and the other 2 as backups, so nintendo can be happy with all the money i spent on ds cartriges and i can be happy with 1 simple cartridge in my DS.

“won’t find it for less then 50… you don’t want to break it”

great vid… but a new game is 50bucks and do u really want to break a new game?

  21. Wraith2B, I couldn’t have summed it up better.

  22. Yeah it’s a shame that people would actually pirate everything. I can’t say I never did that, but if you do like a game, just buy it (nothing wrong with pirating it first to see if you DO like it). It just looks cool to have a case there. Plus it helps getting new games. The game creators need motivation (and money for those monthly paychecks) to come out with something new.

  23. The problem ASSHOLE, is that you’re getting to enjoy the games that people make but they aren’t able to enjoy your money.

  24. i dont know what your problem is but the
R4 is great, and i still have it since 2 years ago when i bought it and i know their are millions of people that own them, so i suggest you stay quiet about
    the R4

Can you still play on Wi-Fi with games on R4?
