@cbpbxgoone241The lack of tutorials is frustrating but now all you have to do is make an “apps” folder in your SD card or other media storage and put in WIi .DOL files (which are like a computer’s .EXE but they only work on a Wii) I’m trying to figure out how to make my backups work atm…

hey bro so when i remove my sd card will i have the homebrew channel in the menu or i got to keep puting the sd card so the homebrew channel can pop up

Anyway I Put stuff in the sd card then put it in my wii.
then when i go to the sd card menu i saw a ? Channel.Then It Said This Channel Cannot Be Launched On This Wii Consle.

Hmm already tried that. If it helps at all I have one of the first models of wii, but I have version 4.2. Could the SD card be the problem? I reformatted it to FAT to put the momebre channel on the wii do i need to change it back or something?

Yes me too as soon as I click download when trying to get something from the homebrew browser it just frezes. I do wonder what’s up.
i have downloded it to my computer but its a media player file icant open it or anything and when i do open it it takes me 2 windows meia center help??

Im having problem.Everytime I try to download something off the Homebrew Channel it freezes.Any advice?
i have bootmii installed as BOOT2 and on the homebrew channel i have an app call bootmii settings configurer or something? and it acts as if i have bootmii i can change the setting using it to other stuff so i think i have it but it never loads when i turn on my wii it never has once. HOW DO I GET IT TO RUN cuz im worried ill somehow get a brick even though bootmii, homebrew, are the only things i have installed.
I’ve installed homebrew and bootmii, but when I restart the Wii if just goes to the normal menu. With the SD card in, I can go to homebrew and then hit the ‘home’ button, and I have no middle option to run bootmii. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled homebrew, still doesn’t work. I have one of the very old original Wiis with 4.2 firmware

Ok. I have a question here. I have Hombrew Channel already installed on my 4.0 firmware system, and want to upgrade to 4.2, to play New Mario Bros. and eventually Galaxy 2. Is there a safe way to upgrade short of wiping the system? Thanks.
