XBOX WITH AMBILIGHT POWERED BY SMARTXX, XBMC AND IKEA DIODER DIY

This recording demonstrates an Ambilight-like RGB-LED-Driver that is dominated by a XBox with a SmartXX V3 Modchip streaming XBMC. The LEDs utilised are IKEA Dioder RGB-LEDs. Thanks to doctormord@modcontrol for serving me out, wiring the Dioders up to my SmartXX ;) A short howto crapper be institute at forums.xbox-scene.com

    also see my mail: a SVN version from mid 2008 will work. Don’t know right now when it broke.

    I have an xbox and a smart xx and i have tried to use ambilight6.patch. I have tried to apply it to xbmc source code but it doesn’t seemls to work with Atlantis nore Babylon version. Which version of xbmc are you using ?

    thx! for a brief howto see the info of this video – theres a link supplying you with all the info you need to build this thing. Though, it will work only on Xbox as it is “married” to the SmartXX modchip.

  8. I got the ikea dioders aswell, on the back of my TV and a xbox with XBMC, though softmodded.

    Could this be done with a PC aswell? I nowadays start using XBMC more on the PC because of the HD material.
